musical baton

Because things generally work out like this, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that hours after I made a joke with a friend over not getting to be part of this musical baton meme, someone else passed it to me. There is a psychic air about, isn’t there?
Total volume of music files on my computer:
8.84 GB in 2247 songs.
The last CD I bought was:
The Beekeeper by Tori Amos. I didn’t like it as much as other albums of hers.
Song playing right now:
Nothing. However, I can say that the iTunes Originals version of Sarah McLachlan’s “Ice Cream” was playing a lot earlier today.
Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me:
- “Slow Like Honey” by Fiona Apple. Kills me every time.
- “Portions for Foxes” by Rilo Kiley. I just love hearing this one.
- “Caught a Lite Sneeze” by Tori Amos. It’s infectious and takes control of my mind as soon as it starts.
- “Possession” by Sarah McLachlan. It’s dark and hard, and she has the voice of an angel.
- “Leslie Anne Levine” by The Decemberists. I love how slowly and steadily this song opens up and progresses, and I love singing along to it.
